  3.    This version is the SHAREWARE version of the COMMERCIAL
  4.    product LOT-O-WIN. This shareware version differs
  5.    from the commercial version in the following respects:
  6.  
  7.    1) There is a time and use limit for this shareware
  8.       version. The user can use this 10 times or for 30
  9.       days (whichever, comes first).
  10.  
  11.    2) All the drawing data and payoff data is encrypted,
  12.       which means it is unreadable if displayed. The 
  13.       COMMERCIAL version does "NOT" have encrypted data,
  14.       but is in an ASCII text format.  
  15.  
  16.    3) This shareware version is supported, but not enhanced.
  17.       Thus all the future changes described in the FUTURE
  18.       CHANGES list box will only be incorporated in the
  19.       COMMERCIAL version of LOT-O-WIN. JMH SOFTWARE will 
  20.       still give written as well as telephone support for 
  21.       the shareware version.

  23.       Let me describe the SHAREWARE concept a little more. 
  24.    SHAREWARE is a distribution method, not a type of software.
  25.    It is NOT Public Domain software. Shareware authors retain   
  26.    all rights to the software under the copyright laws, but
  27.    still allow free distribution.
  28.       By all means I would encourage you to copy this software
  29.    LOTTO FOR WINDOWS (LOT-O-WIN) for your friends, associates,
  30.    etc. If you think this meets your needs after the 30 day
  31.    or 10 usage trial, then please send $30.00 to register
  32.    your name. You will be given a documentation booklet, as
  33.    well as program that will activate LOT-O-WIN permanently
  34.    (note: the data will still be encrypted). With this
  35.    shareware registration, you will also have the opportunity
  36.    to get updates to the drawing and payoff data for $6.00
  37.    a quarter.
  38.       If you were impressed with this software, and would like
  39.    to get the non-encrypted COMMERCIAL version send $53.70. The
  40.    upgrades for the commercial LOT-O-WIN will be approximately
  41.    $15.00 at intervals of every 6 months.
